Special B-day Package

Joshua received a special b-day package in the mail from his Grandma and Grandpa Unsell in California.  They are so sweet to always be thinking about him and Kayla even from miles away. 

OOOHH what's in here? 

Checking out his bug magnifier. 

He was very interested in the toy bug inside the magnifier. 

Reading the directions to his Rolly Polly playground. 

 

 

He had a blast popping the bubble wrap...

 

 

So far he really likes the Rolly Polly playground.  This toy couldn't be more perfect as he is really into Rolly Pollies lately.  Whenever he sees one he says, "turn into little ball."  Now when he sees one he stops and picks it up and we have to put it in his Rolly Polly playground right away. He is very serious about it too.

I immediately ordered our caterpillars for the butterfly farm and anxiously awaited for them to arrive. 

We were outside when the mailman delivered our caterpillars and he immediately started asking to open it before he even knew it was for him.  He has gotten spoiled with all the birthday packages that have come that he just assumes any package we get is for him.

Can't wait to put them in our habitat!

 

I cant wait for him to see them change into butterflies.  Stay tuned for pictures of that.
